Short Term Hire Cars
Thanks for your enquiry; please accept this standard letter about short-term (1 month - 6 months) rental.
We do not rent short term vehicles directly but in my regular business life I am involved with Major Rental companies and we have arrangements with Apex Rental and Isle of Man Rentals who are generally not mega expensive but not super cheap sadly.
What Apex can offer is a 'non-airport surcharge' and 'free' meet & greet service, plus free drop off at Heathrow. For pricing and range of vehicles please go to: www.apexsurrey.co.uk. Please click on location Sunbury for Heathrow, and in the comments box please ref: 'agreed Phil Ringrose' and add flight no. and time of arrival.
The rates on the web site include insurance but they can also offer you a Vauxhall Corsa (3 door, 4 seat small car) at £199 + VAT (£234) per month, with a pick up from Sunbury, but without insurance and they tell me that they could provide a registration number for you to take out your own fully comprehensive insurance over the internet; just Google 'cheap car insurance'. My guess would be that you could get it for about £30 per month giving you a total outlay of approx £270 per month.

They are able to provide insurance cover at a cost of £105 per calendar month in addition to the hire charges with a limited excess of £500 in the event of any damages/accidents. As all cars are brand new, availability would be between 1-2 weeks from your order for the Golf or 2-3 weeks for the Fiesta. Please note however these are best estimated times based on current orders and insurance might be cheaper taken on a 12 month contract, payable monthly by direct debit and then cancelled at the end of your rental period as detailed above.
